  • Call scripts and letters written for your case

It is one document, written for one bill, and it is yours to act on the day it arrives. See a whole one.

How it works

01

Pay for the plan

One payment of $49 for one bill. No subscription, nothing to cancel.

02

Upload the bill

You create your account and add the bill, and the EOB too if you have one. A photo from your phone is fine.

03

Answer a few questions

Only the things the bill cannot tell us: whether it has been to collections, what you have already been told, what you can put toward it.

04

Get the plan within 24 hours

It arrives by email and in your account, from the moment your bill and answers are both in.

You carry out the steps yourself

That is the whole difference in the price. The plan tells you who to call, what to ask for and what to send, and the words are written for you, but the calls are yours to make. If you would rather hand the bill over and have a specialist negotiate it, that is Pay Per Bill at $129.

Questions

What do I do, and what do you do?

We do the reading, the pricing and the writing. You make the calls and send the letters, with the words already written for you. If you would rather not make the calls at all, Pay Per Bill is the plan where a specialist does that part for you.

How long does it take?

Within 24 hours of your bill and your answers both being in. If something is missing we tell you what, and the clock starts when it arrives.

What if I have insurance?

Send the explanation of benefits along with the bill. Reading the two against each other is where a good share of the errors show up, and it changes which routes are open to you.

What if the bill is already with a collection agency?

The plan still works, and the steps change. Your rights are different once a debt has been sold or assigned, and there are things worth doing quickly, so tell us in the questions and the plan is written around it.

What if my bill turns out to be correct?

Then you know that, which is worth knowing before you pay it. You still get what it should cost against published prices, the assistance you qualify for, and a payment plan request written for you.

Can I see one before I buy?

Yes. A complete sample plan on an example emergency room bill is published at /action-plan/sample, with the findings, the prices and the steps in full.
